rear disc conversion

Is it possible to convert a 93 Del Sol's rear drum brakes with disc from a higher model civic from the same model years? It would prolly be 91 to 94 civics? What would I need? Rear lower control arms, disc and caliper from the donor car? :bow:

Would work getting the parts from an EX, they should have 4 wheel disks or an Intregra model. What you need is from the knuckle out (no lower arms unless you want to mount a rear sway bar, just make sure you get the ones with the mounts for it on them, an EX didn't come with a rear sway bar stock), rear parking brake cables from the disk style delsol only (either an SI or DOHC VTEC, the drum ones won't work, about $100 for them new). Also the proportioning valve for a fr. disk/rear disk model along with the master cylinder and brake booster for the same (EX or SI delsol one for all wheel disks will work just fine). That should do it as for parts to change an S to SI/DOHC VTEC rear disk brakes (both use the same rear disk assembly as well as the Intregra, all use the same size rear rotors).

only hard part about the rear disc conversion is the e-brake lines.

Phil did you replace yours, was the exhaust in the way? Was that the problem, I don't know because I've never looked that close at it, it doesn't look that bad in the factory service manual, just a few bolts holding the cables in with clips on the ends.
